Jessica Quiñones has taught flute for many years, winning many awards for her creative and friendly approach to private tuition. In 2002, she was named by America's Music Teacher National Association (MTNA) as one of the "Best Studio Teachers under the age of 30" and whilst at the University of Denver was named the "Most Promising Music Educator".

Along with her ongoing experience of teaching University masterclasses, Jessica is currently the flute instructor at Ampleforth College, York College and the Mount School in North Yorkshire, England.

The Quiñones Flute Studio is based in the historic city of York , England and is committed to offering pupils a well-rounded and inspiring approach to achieving high standards of flute playing. Many of her pupils travel from all areas of Yorkshire for weekly lessons. Many have won national competitions, gained entrance into international music schools and throughout achieved top marks at auditions and in the Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music graded exams.

The Quiñones flute studio pupils come from all walks of life and range across all ages and levels -- from absolute beginners to post-university graduates. Her approach to flute teaching is centered on the individual artistic needs of each person, adapting time-honored methods of scales, exercises and solo literature.
