Set in the beautiful Lake District, the Keswick School invites Jessica to deliver a workshop to the school flautists. She will give a masterclass for selected soloists and work with their flute group on ensemble skills and musicality, not to mention some extended techniques to improve tone development!

Flute playing is a physical activity and a knowledge to help prepare your body and mind for playing would benefit any flautist! This is a yoga class designed for flute players, especially designed to show you a routine to help your flute practice in all aspects including tension, breathing and concentration. This class will be led by a qualified British Wheel of Yoga instructor Anna Semlyan. With input from Jessica into what flute players need to utilize their body to make flute playing a more 'integrative experience'.

Since 1998, Jessica Quinones has been teaching flute players from all backgrounds and delivering classes and workshops to enhance flute playing for everyone. Since her arrival in Yorkshire in 2006, her York Flute Projects continue to be a successful series of events with topics that cover all aspects of flute playing. The classes she organises are designed for students from all different walks of life and are held in York, England at various venues in the city.
